Old School Favorites on this guitar include the Private Stock Tiger Eye Color! Really the iconic color from PRS from the earliest days! Also includes the Small Headstock Eagle, NEW DMO Pickups designed by Paul, and Old School Birds on a HIGHLY Figured Zircon Fretboard! Just look at the wood graining on this Fretboard! I mean it has to be one of the best of this limited run of 400 Guitars. Highly sought after from Collectors as well as dealers, so just don't let this one get away! Celebrating The One That Started It All
Introducing the 40th Anniversary Custom 24 Limited Edition, celebrating four decades of PRS Guitars. Limited to 400 pieces worldwide, this special edition features both traditional design features and new appointments, making it an essential piece for serious musicians and collectors alike.
Built on the tried-and-true foundation of a mahogany back and neck with artist grade maple top, the 40th Anniversary Custom 24 boasts a retro violin top carve, PRS “Old School” birds with outlines, and PRS “Pre-Factory” headstock eagle, all of which pay homage to early PRS guitars. Outside of these aesthetic attributes, the 40th Anniversary Custom 24 is looking ahead with its all-new PRS DMO Treble and Bass pickups. DMO pickups (DMO standing for Dynamic, Musical, Open) were spec’d by Paul Reed Smith and the PRS New Products Engineering team to have a wide open sound with vocal character.
Other classic Custom 24 appointments include the PRS Gen III patented tremolo, PRS Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons, and PRS Signature 10-46 strings. This limited edition also features a ziricote fretboard and headstock veneer.
